OTC COVID-19 Test Kits

As a result of new regulations issued by the Biden-Harris administration requiring Insurance Companies and Group Health Plans to cover the cost of at home COVID-19 Tests, effective January 15, 2022 members and their dependents will be able to receive free COVID-19 test kits. The limit is 8 per individual in the household every 30 days during the pandemic.
Through an arrangement the Fund has with Benecard, you can receive the COVID-19 test kits at point of sale (POS) through the current network pharmacy you and your family utilize by presenting your Benecard Prescription Card OR through direct member reimbursement (DMR), where you pay for the COVID-19 tests out of pocket and then submit your completed COVID-19 Test Kit Direct Reimbursement form and the receipts for reimbursement to Benecard. You will be reimbursed up to $12 per test through the (POS) scenario. You can download a copy of the COVID-19 Test Kit (DMR) Form from the link below.
